Possible UTME Results Outcomes to Be Aware Of:
Withheld: If you receive the message/notification "WITHHELD," it indicates there might be an issue, possibly related to your biometrics or a technical problem (e.g., the computer you used). No need to worry, as JAMB often releases the result later.
Cancelled: This is the least favorable message to encounter when checking your result. It signifies that JAMB has nullified your result due to malpractice or a violation of their rules. Your options are to either take legal action or wait for the next JAMB session and rewrite the exam.
How to Obtain Your Original JAMB Result for 2023:
Candidates should be aware of the distinction between result notifications and the original UTME result. (You must make a payment of between 1,200NGN – 1,500NGN to obtain your Original JAMB Result).
Printing or obtaining your Original JAMB result is not necessary until you receive admission into your chosen school. To obtain your original JAMB result, visit any CBT center or cyber cafe nearby. After obtaining your original result, print 5 to 12 photocopies for admission procedures.
